Signs and Symptoms of Exposure

Eyes Irritation may occur with prolonged exposure to concentrated vapors. Liquid is a contact irritant. Low hazard for usual industrial handling.

Skin Repeated or prolonged contact can cause reddening of the skin, scaling, and dermatitis. Low hazard under ordinary usage.

Inhalation This material is a low hazard. If vapor is present in high concentrations, irritation to upper respiratory tract may occur.

Ingestion Slightly toxic. May cause abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and drowsiness. Low hazard by this route in normal use.

First Aid

Eyes Flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical aid.

Skin Flush affected area and wash with mild soap and water.

Inhalation Remove to fresh air; provide oxygen if breathing is difficult; give artificial respiration if not breathing. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion Do not give liquids if victim is unconscious or very drowsy. Otherwise, give two glasses of water and induce vomiting. Get medical attention.
