Signs and Symptoms of Exposure

Eyes Liquid is a contact irritant. Irritation may occur with prolonged exposure to concentrated vapors. May cause corneal inflammation.

Skin Liquid is a medium strong base. Repeated or prolonged contact can cause reddening of the skin, scaling, and dermatitis.

Inhalation May cause irritation of the throat, drowsiness, dizzyness, and headache with prolonged exposure to concentrated vapors.

Ingestion Nausea; diarrhea.

First Aid

Eyes Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately seek medical aid.

Skin Flush affected area and wash with mild soap and water.

Inhalation Remove to fresh air; give CPR if unconscious.

Ingestion Obtain medical attention immediately.

Collect with absorbent material or pick up mechanically. Rinse affected area with water.

Waste Disposal Method

Dispose as non-hazardous waste in accordance with local regulations.

Storage and Handling Precautions

Store at ambient temperature in closed container to prevent evaporation. May be stored in temperatures from -35oC to 60oC without deterioration. Product not affected by freezing; however, container may not resist expansion. Do not store concentrate in aluminum.

Other Precautions

Product is a strong cleaner and degreaser. Although components have low hazard levels, the product is a strong base and will remove oils from the skin. Avoid prolonged skin contact.
